Broiled Octopus with White Beans

Cut off the head and remove beak; boil full size octopus. In a separate pan, saute chopped onions, add canned tomatoes, reduce and add herbs and canned (rinsed) white beans. Remove and cut off tentacles; broil until browned but not black. Top a bowl of the beans with the octopus, and add lemon to taste. Delicious and filling for a cold night dinner!
