Biggest no brainer of all time. Throw garden pickles 1/4 cut in a mason jar with 1/2 water, 1/2 vinegar of your choice, minced garlic, any herbs like dill or pepper flakes. Summer! Takes a few days to pickle, lasts long, and no canning or freezing or blanching nonsense!
